Born and raised in NY, Rabbi Goldberg spent two years in Jerusalem, studying at the Yeshiva Yagdil Torah. He went on to receive his BA and MA in Talmudic studies from Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ. Before founding the RJX in 2004, Rabbi Goldberg had been involved in Jewish education in Twin Rivers and Margate, NJ. He enjoys discussing Torah, football (as a long suffering Miami Dolphins fan, Rabbi Goldberg hopes to see a Dolphin super bowl win before he has great grandchildren) and urban culture – not necessarily in that order – with Jewish students. Rabbi Goldberg’s infamous cholent he makes every Shabbat is currently being experimented with by Al Gore as alternative green energy source. He and his wife Estie reside in Lakewood, together with their rambunctious children.
