Allison Reiter
President

Allie Reiter is a Rutgers Senior studying History and Jewish Studies. She became involved with RJX during her sophomore year, and hasn’t left yet! Allie spends most of her time promoting Zionism and Jewish life on campus. Her love of all things Israeli landed her internship with the World Zionist Organization. This Jersey Girl’s favorite activities include talking, reading articles on Wikipedia, eating ice cream, and daydreaming about the Holy Land.

 

 

 

Andrew Zharnest

A true New Jersey native, Andrew Zharnest has lived all of his 21 glorious years in the very real place known as central Jersey. He is currently a senior in the School of Engineering at Rutgers University, where he majors in materials science. His interests include tennis, football, the beach, curling up with a good book, and of course, spending an awesome time with his friends at all the RJX shabbatons. His voracious appetite for learning, exploring, and some of Rabbi Goldberg’s amazing cholent continues to grow every day! He also someday hopes to swim with sharks deep in the Atlantic Ocean.

 

 

Jacob Binstein
Executive Director of Awesome

Jake is a junior at Rutgers double majoring in Jewish Studies and Information Technology and Informatics.He has more servers under his bed than the average person has pets. He is happy, and he knows it, and he thus claps his hands. His dream is to live the simple life up in the Golan Heights with his laptop, high-speed internet, and cabinets full of falafel. His hobbies include magnets. He is looking forward to spreading the positive message of a personal, meaningful Jewish experience this year.

 

 

Alex Zeldin

Alex Zeldin was born in Belarus, raised in New Jersey in a secular, yet distinctly Jewish home. Originally attending a small liberal arts school out west, he returned to his Jersey roots seeking a Jewish community which he happily found at RJX. in addition to his burgeoning interest in Judaism, he is the Israel chair of Hillel. his hobbies include rock climbing, cooking exotic yet increasingly kosher meals, and moonlighting as a political pundit.

 

 

 

Stephanie Reiter

Stephanie Reiter is currently a sophomore at Rutgers studying communications and Spanish. She prides herself for being a positive, open-minded individual who enjoys the simple things in life. Stephanie also enjoys intense conversations involving the exchange and reenactment of assorted movie quotes. She is looking forward to engaging and introducing new people to the RJX community. The RJX program has made many opportunities accessible for Jewish students both on and off campus. Stephanie is excited for the upcoming year and working with the RJX board members to make the RJX experience unforgettable.

 

Alison Bleich

Ali is a sophomore studying psychology. She completed the Maimonides program last year
and found it to be an awesome experience. In addition, she is involved with Hillel and Dance
Marathon and encourages everyone to try new things at Rutgers because there is always
something new to learn or someone new to meet. Ali is thrilled to be on the RJX board this year
and looks forward to a great year!
